Recycling instead of disposable
The worn bristles of various brooms and brushes can be torn out and replaced, allowing the brush body to be reused. This is particularly important in street cleaning, as a disposable broom means that several kilos of valuable material are disposed of instead of being reused.
The company known as A+B Insieme The well-known pick-up and delivery service for street cleaning brooms is available throughout Switzerland. The used brooms are refitted in local workshops for the disabled. Customers benefit from A+B Insieme by protecting the environment, making a social contribution and saving time and money.

This circular economy is also practiced in other sectors, e.g. at Cheese dairies.

Organic bristles instead of microplastics
The abrasion from road brushes remains on the pavement and is then washed into the sewage system or into the road embankment by rainwater. These tiny particles are only partially retained in the wastewater treatment plant and accumulate in nature.
We therefore offer bristles based on polylactide-acid (PLA), which is mainly obtained from industrial maize. This crop grows on soil that is not suitable for food maize. In addition to being obtained from a renewable raw material, PLA has the advantage that it is compostable in accordance with DIN EN 13432: at least 90% of the material is decomposed by biological measures in CO2, water and minerals within 6 months.

Natural raw materials instead of plastic
With our brushes made from wood and natural fibers, we offer sustainable alternatives to products made from synthetic materials and contribute to the responsible use of resources. The brushes are durable and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way after use. In this way, our products combine quality with sustainability and resource conservation.

Recycled plastic instead of virgin plastic
The topic of sustainability and recycling has long been established. Recycled plastic is plastic with a past and a future, because recycling plastic conserves crude oil as a raw material and reduces the mountains of waste. Up to 99% recycled post-consumer plastic waste is used for the professional brushes of the future, thus supporting the circular economy in a resource-saving way.

Recycling instead of disposal
Together with a local recycling company, we have implemented a consistent, easy-to-implement separation system. Thanks to constant internal improvements and the increased conversion to a circular economy in individual areas, we are able to reduce our waste volume every year.
